Welcome to lilyheart

Holistic health care is  finding its way into the mainstream of society more and more.  We have become more “in tune” with our human needs, and hopefully that includes care of our body, mind and spirit.  But what about the animals who share our space?  Some scientists say that animals have no emotions.  Those of us who have been deeply touched and forever changed by the love of an animal friend know otherwise.   

Barbara Martin has been a “horse whisperer” since she was six years old, and has studied animal medicine for many years.  She has worked with all kinds of animals:  both domestic and wild, as well as our human brothers and sisters.

The gifts...the gifts are within us all.  We must know that the creator loves us so much that he (or she) would hold us in the palm of his (or her) hand, and at the same time dwell within each of our hearts.  We are individually and collectively one with the creator, therefore we are one with each other and all of creation...Aho...”

Our animals have a tough job taking care of us.  They feel and react to everything in their environments. they have been known to suffer the same ailments as their masters.  They often will defend their human companions to the death.  Their job here on earth is to show unconditional love.  Lilyheart was founded in memory of one such dear animal friend, who forever changed the way in which I viewed animal interaction. 

I have found that when I’m providing a healing session with a human client, I inquire about their pets.  There is always a similar dis-ease or dys-function occurring within the pet’s world as well.  When there is overlap, which is often the case, it is a good idea to treat the human condition(s) and the animals with any of the available remedies that are appropriate to the situation.  I often use a combination of modalities during a session.  For example, a session may include Reiki, Bio-Genesis, and Healing Touch.  I then complete the session with a custom essence for integrating the healing on all levels:  the cellular, soulular, mental, emotional, physical and spiritual.  I believe this combined approach helps to bring you, your pet and your environment  back into wholeness.
